Quran
The Quran is the central religious text of Islam, believed by Muslims to be a revelation from God. It is widely regarded as the finest work in classical Arabic literature.
The Quran consists of 114 chapters of varying lengths, each known as a sura. Suras are classified as Meccan or Medinan, depending on whether the initial verses were revealed before or after the migration of the Prophet Muhammad to the city of Medina.
